Building Community Through Food

Morrisville College students rolled up their sleeves and showed us what community spirit is all about!

Partnering with Community Action Partnership for Madison County, students and CAP staff collected 280 canned goods and other food items to help fight hunger right here at home.

But they didn’t stop there… They turned those donations into ART!
Two teams — The Can Door’s Throne and Christmas in a Can engineered creative structures made entirely from canned and non-perishable food items.

This fun and friendly activity demonstrated:

Creativity, Engineering skills , Teamwork, Compassion for others, and raised awareness about hunger

Every can collected makes a stronger, more caring community.
Thank you, Morrisville College Students, for helping us raise awareness and support local families this holiday season!
