The Nutrition Outreach and Education Program Coordinator works throughout Madison County to provide a complete, personal, and confidential prescreening to determine if a consumer may be eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This service is provided to individuals and families in their homes, at libraries or any other place and time that is convenient for those in need of SNAP benefits.
Coordinators can assist in completing an application and submit to Madison Department of Social Services. As well as providing other food resources and information.
The NOEP coordinator helps families and individuals of all ages to improve nutrition and increase food buying power.

Please help us in welcoming our new Executive Director, Antara Mitra. Antara Mitra has been appointed Executive Director of the Community Action Partnership in Madison County. She comes with a diversified array of experience and talents. She most recently served as Program Director of REACH CNY, a Syracuse based non-profit in maternal and child health. As Program Director, she worked closely with various community partners to improve birth outcomes and reduce health disparities. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami, and a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) from Syracuse University and SUNY Upstate Medical University.
